At the AGI Summit, Science in Motion presented its original science communication dance production, We Need a New Plan, exploring memory, identity, consciousness, and the complexity of the human mind. Through the metaphor of ten inner voices sharing a single brain, the work combined dance, theater, and neuroscience to guide audiences on a journey through memory loss, identity, internal conflict, understanding, and reconciliation. By connecting neurological and psychiatric conditions with universal human experiences, the performance challenged stereotypes and invited audiences to reflect on what it truly means to be seen, understood, and human. More than a performance, We Need a New Plan was an interdisciplinary exploration of neuroscience, mental health, artificial intelligence, and the future of humanity. It transformed complex scientific concepts into emotionally engaging artistic experiences, making topics such as memory, consciousness, and identity more accessible to the public while demonstrating the power of art as a medium for science communication. For Science in Motion, the project represents more than an artistic production—it embodies a vision for the future of public engagement with science, where scientific ideas are not only understood, but deeply felt.
