Xiao Han is a postdoctoral scientist at Stanford University & Howard Hughes Medical Institute (Thomas C. Südhof Lab; 2013 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine). She received her Ph.D. from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and currently serves as an Early Career Editorial Board Member of The Innovation (Cell Press); Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics; Brain-X. Dr. Han’s research focuses on synaptic transmission and brain disorder. She has co-authored 23 peer-reviewed publications (9 as first/co-first/corresponding author), including Molecular Cell, Seminars in Cancer Biology, Nature Neuroscience, Cell Research, etc. She holds one national patent. Her honors include Outstanding Graduate of Beijing and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Dean’s Excellent Award from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the National Scholarship for both master’s and doctoral studies at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. She has been actively involved in dance and science communication outreach for many years, specializing in choreography, waacking, jazz, hip-hop, and Chinese-style dance.
